What do we do?

We are the American Boy Scout Troop in Paris, France. We have around 60 members, and have been around since 1957. We go on one campout or hike a month, and a week-long summer camp every July.

In the summer of 2011, Troop 112 teamed up with Texas Crew 905 to go on a 50-mile hike around the World War 1 battlefields near Verdun. We crossed rivers, slashed through forests and cooked in style.

Climbing! We hiked in the snow to a climbing center and went climbing for a few hours. We came back with new skills and a merit badge!

Our sailing trip! We went to Brittany for a 2-night weekend and went sailing in catamarans and optimists. We also went out on a 100 year old skippered skiff (or "Sinagot")!
